Hollywood has once again discovered that Chicago is their kind of town. Two major motion picture studios have been built in Chicago in recent years and feature films and television are both utilizing the Chicagoland area talent pool and production community to produce their programs.

 

RICH DANIELS is named MUSICAL ADVISOR & CONTRACTOR
for the new NBC television show, THE PLAYBOY CLUB.

 

The most talked about new TV show of the 2011 season is premiering on NBC
on September 19th. Starring Eddie Cibriani, Amber Heard & Laura Benanti,
THE PLAYBOY CLUB is being produced by 20th Century Fox together with Imagination Entertainment for broadcast on NBC television.

All of the on-screen musicians for the 22-episode season will come from the office of City Lights Music Inc.

Also this season, Kelsey Grammer will star in another television show being filmed in Chicago.  BOSS will premier this fall on the STARZ Network.  Rich Daniels wrote the original music for a scene filmed in the Empire Room in Chicago and our office also contracted all of the on-camera musicians for this first episode.  The pilot was directed by academy-award nominated director Gus Van Sant and filmed entirely in Chicago.
