The City Lights Orchestra always works very hard to help charitable foundations and community organizations achieve their event fund-raising goals. Part of our mission is to be good corporate citizens and stewards of the community. Musical director Rich Daniels is an active member of the community, who stays directly involved with a number of great Chicago-based organizations. His affiliations include:

• Senior Board Member, Chicago Federation of Musicians, Local 10-208
• Board Member, Mercy Home For Boys and Girls (former chairman)
• Chairman of the Advisory Board, DePaul University School of Music
• Member of the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau
• Board Member, In Search of Genius Foundation
• Member of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce
• Delegate to the Chicago Federation of Labor
• Advisory Board Member, Chicago Jazz Philharmonic
